Happy 2007 everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year's Eve. I was working last night, but it was fantastic. I think a lot of undue pressure is put on New Years, and often times it can be an amateur drinkers night (which was obvious from the amount of vomit in the bathrooms at the end of the night). But we had a blast...We had a private party at our bar, and it was open bar, so you know we were drink pouring machines. By the end of the night, my joints ached, my fingers were all cut up, my stomach was eating itself alive, and my eyes were barely open, but I went home with a healthy wad of money in my pocket...can't complain :).

Holly and I dressed to impress, but we ALWAYS wear our sneakers for comfort!!!!

Holly and Justin, her barback, controlled the upstairs.

Jake, my barback, and I controlled the downstairs. Scott, the owner (all the way to the left), vacillated between floors to add an extra pair of hands.

We had an arsenal of strong young men to lift kegs and keep out the vagrants.

Scott, our boss, just bought a beautiful Beagle puppy who we gladly take our on walks and love and hold and squeeze. He's amazing.

I love this picture...these are the men of Ventnor waiting for the party to begin. Rather than the usual sports that can be seen on the big screen, they are all watching EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION! hahaha...they are riveted!! The big man to the left is our beloved DJ: Mack.
