Ahhh, Washington.
So, the snow came down.
We were all excited.
And bundled up.

And the last four of our shows got cancelled due to power outages! So...I had a whole day off to tour Seattle before I had to fly back to DC. Randomly, my friend Gabriel called me Saturday morning and just happens to have a friend who lives in Seattle, a best friend in fact, who agreed to be my tour guide for the day. It was a spectacular situation!

This is Seattle.

The Troll under the bridge in Freemont.

mmm...fruits and veggies...

mmm...fresh seafood

Pikes Place Market is awesome. Seattle is awesome.

This is the first Starbucks...ever!

Pretty Seattle sunset.

Thank you, Mark. What a super tour guide!

It's The Day Of The Show Y'all

Getting used to blowing bubbles before the show. Violet blows a lot of bubbles.

"Violet! Please do not lick the boat. You will only make the ship sticky."

Eric, Me, and Roe rehearsing on the candy boat.

All dressed up as Violet Beauregarde.

Mmmm...love that outfit. When do I get to do a show where I wear a normal costume?

After several hours of rehearsing with my fellow castmates, puppets, and props (gum being a VERY important prop), we performed at the basketball statium in Pullman, WA, home of the Washington State Cougars! It went really well...and I had a great time. Hope you enjoy the pictures from the evening!

Me and Eric enjoying a beer after a successful show!

I missed all these hotel room shenanigans!

One show ends (sort of), another begins...

Erika and me posing in our costumes before the show.

So, although my show had a full week remaining at the Kennedy Center, I am not there to complete it. No, I didn't sleep in, miss the show and get fired (although that is my absolute worst nightmare). I am in Washington State with the Willy Wonka tour going on as Violet because the actress that normally plays her hurt her knee. I've been the understudy for Willy Wonka for months now, never thinking that I would actually have to leave THE BRAND NEW KID to go on tour with Willy Wonka. But. Well. I had to! So, my understudy is going on for me back in Washington DC...and I'm here in Washignton state performing Violet tomorrow night. Here are some delightful photos from the trip so far!

The cool hat club.

Gotta love tour...all you do is shop til you drop!

I missed these kinds of views.

Just stoppin at a gas station next to the mountains.

Tomorrow I perform for the first time as a member of the Willy Wonka cast. Woo woo!

Ventnor Holiday Party Extravaganza

Holiday Party Time

There he is...the Christmas cookie plate organizer.

Don't insult his cookie organizing skills.

Ben is a little uncomfortable with Lamar wielding a knife...

Although Lamar put the knife down, Mark does not look convinced.

Dave, Mike, and Suz.

We go way back...remember that Christmas party in 99? I'm mad Mark asked "where are the home-made sugar cookies?"

Looks like Mark found a cookie he likes, regardless.

We were organizing the soda according to alphabetical order in honor of my mom, the librarian. No...I'm not kidding with this one.

Eric made his way to my house all the way from California and the Wonka tour! Now THAT's dedication.

Lamar started the dance party in my living room.
Get it.
