SHAKE YOUR BON-BON
Is that hyphenated?

The Kennedy Center Interns received a very important email several days ago informing us of a once in a lifetime opportunity. Free tickets to the upcoming Ricky Martin concert at the Patriot Center for whoever wanted to go. Could this be true? Yes. It was, indeed. We all jumped at the chance.
We eagerly walk to the Patriot Center after parking the vehicles.

J-ho is excited. Very excited.

$7 beers for me and J-ho. You have to. It's part of the experience. And, plus, the tickets were free!

Ricky is beautiful. There, I said it. He really really is.

Sing it to me, Ricky!

And the party continued in the parking lot after the show. The traffic was so backed up that it enabled Erika and Alison to take dance breaks outside the vehicle.

And pop out of the sun roof.

All in all...it was a fantastic time.

Also, don't forget that our adorable Ricky is an advocate for children's rights. He launched into a long speech in the middle of his concert about it, as well. Could he be any cuter? Not likely. Check out his website at:

For a limited time you can read my first article on NBC4.com! I will be writing for the entertainment guide portion of their website called "DCScene", reviewing local establishments, restaurants, nightlife. It's fun, and I'm getting published!

Hanging with the Interns.

Lauriol Plaza after seeing shows at the Kennedy Center.
My friend Rachel, curly haired girl to my right, pointed out that in this picture I look like a dark Nubian princess next to a slew of translucent midwesterners. Notice I'm the only one showing my arms. It wasn't even very warm outside. Maybe I have issues.

Glenn, Rachel, and me at La Tasca in Gallery Place before seeing a show at Woolly Mammoth.
Rachel was choking on her food a little.

These KC Interns are super nice.
